چکیده

The wave type field equation θ = λθ, where θ is a coframe field on a space-time, was recently proposed to describe the gravity field. This equation has a unique static, spherical-symmetric, asymptotically-flat solution, which leads to the viable Yilmaz-Rosen metric. We show that the wave type field equation is satisfied by the pseudo-conformal frame if the conformal factor is determined by a scalar 3D-harmonic function. This function can be related to the Newtonian potential of classical gravity. So we obtain a direct relation between the non-relativistic gravity and the relativistic model: every classical exact solution leads to a solution of the field equation. With this result we obtain a wide class of exact, static metrics. We show that the theory of Yilmaz relates to the pseudo-conformal sector of our construction. We derive also a unique cosmological (time dependent) solution of the described type. ∗ email [email protected]

O ct 1 99 7 Constraints and Solutions of Quantum Gravity in Metric Representation

We construct the regularised Wheeler–De Witt operator demanding that the algebra of constraints of quantum gravity is anomaly free. We find that for a subset of all wavefunctions being integrals of scalar densities this condition can be satisfied. We proceed to finding exact solutions of quantum gravity being of the form of functionals of volume and average curvature of compact three-manifold.

Exact solutions in multidimensional gravity with antisymmetric forms

This topical review deals with a multidimensional gravitational model containing dilatonic scalar fields and antisymmetric forms. The manifold is chosen in the form M = M0 ×M1 × . . .×Mn, where Mi are Einstein spaces (i ≥ 1). The sigma-model approach and exact solutions in the model are reviewed and the solutions with p-branes (e.g. Majumdar-Papapetrou-type, cosmological, spherically symmetric,...

Finsler and Lagrange Geometries in Einstein and String Gravity

We review the current status of Finsler–Lagrange geometry and generalizations. The goal is to aid non–experts on Finsler spaces, but physicists and geometers skilled in general relativity and particle theories, to understand the crucial importance of such geometric methods for applications in modern physics. We also would like to orient mathematicians working in generalized Finsler and Kähler g...

Black holes, parallelizable horizons and half-BPS states for the Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet theory in five dimensions

Exact vacuum solutions with a nontrivial torsion for the Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet theory in five dimensions are constructed. We consider a class of static metrics whose spacelike section is a warped product of the real line with a nontrivial base manifold endowed with a fully antisymmetric torsion. It is shown requiring solutions of this sort to exist, fixes the Gauss-Bonnet coupling such that the...
